Felicia Chesser has been working with dogs all her life. They became a big part of everything she did; spending a lot of time in their natural state she learned how to read their body language and energy, how they interact with their own packs and that people play a direct role in a dog’s behavior!
Felicia’s experience comes from her time spent as a professional groomer as well as involvement with St. Louis Samoyed Rescue for over a decade. She’s worked hands-on fostering, rehabilitating and training dogs in need of new homes. She has a great deal of experience training very young puppies, unruly adolescents, aggressive and shy dogs alike.
Even more amazing, she’s not just your everyday DOG trainer! Felicia has experience handling and working with exotic animals like birds and reptiles as well.

A VERY important member of pack at Misfit Dog is Boo the Bull Terrier! At the age of 6 months, she came to live with Felicia and her husband David. Even at this young age she had already been bounced through 5 or 6 homes! Why you may ask? It was all due to her deafness and mounting behavior problems! She had suffered much neglect, physically and mentally! But she found solace in Felicia and David and is now healthy in ALL aspects and has turned into the perfect dog! Perfect disposition, energy and she is set to change society’s view of deaf dogs (those with other disabilities as well) and the powerful breeds like Bull Terriers & Pit Bulls!
So, if Fido is having some behavioral issues, just know that he/she is not a hopeless case! Boo the Bull Terrier is proof!
