Did you know? After consulting with a number of organizations including World Wildlife Fund, International Fund for Animal Welfare, the Humane Society of the United States, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service eBay has decided to institute a global ban on the sale of all types of ivory. This global ban went into effect January 1, 2009 Even though this does not directly effect dog and cat rescues, or pet adoption centers this is a great message to send to all those companies out there lacking the awareness to support wildlife as well as our best friends, whether cat dogs or birds!
